Welcome to the Woodhurst Website Newsletter

Since a number of new people have joined the mailing list since the first newsletter I have put the first one up on the web for all to see here

I will try and publish the web newsletter at around the same time as the paper newsletter that will hopefully be coming through your door on a monthly basis, but will not just be a repeat of everything that is on there. If for some reason, you haven't seen the latest newsletter, you can see it here

Register for eCops and get a regular crime report by email

Click on the logo to go to the registration page, then you will receive regular email updates from the Cambridgeshire Constabulary regarding incidents that have gone on in our area, thankfully Woodhurst is rarely mentioned, but it is interesting to see what goes on in Somersham when the pubs close

Doggy Bags

There has been a delivery of bags to The Swallows. Supplies are very limited, so please only take one bag (if there are any left)

Bank Holiday Bin Collections

As always, the bin collections will be a day late following the Bank Holiday. This means that the Grey Bin will be collected on Saturday 30th August

The Woodhurst Website...the same, but different

Although it probably doesn't look like it, the website has changed significantly in recent weeks, with a lot of the pages being rewritten to make them load quicker. The diary has been reformatted, and the Gallery has a lot more pictures on it. You may have noticed that the pictures at the top of each page are better quality and change every time you reload the page

If you have any pictures of the village or village events that have been held in the past that you think should be available for everyone to see, then please do forward them to me. I'm especially interested in photographs of things that no longer exist (e.g Pubs and buildings).

Did you know......

Thank you for your time, and don't forget to visit www.woodhurst-cambs.com
